Why are some calls and texts not flagged as malicious?

While we aim to stay in front of all known threats, new scams are reported daily. When in doubt, do not click. Scam Guard learns from users who submit new or unknown scams, which in turn helps protect the broader community.

Why do some features differ by device type?

To ensure Scam Guard can best protect both Android and iOS users, our engineers work closely with smartphone manufacturers to optimize features, advice, and action items in accordance with OS rules and device specifications.

Are my submissions and associated data logged or stored?Â

Queries are stored locally for 30 days for user convenience. Malwarebytes maintains a strict zero-logging policy, meaning we never rent or share sensitive personal information. Reported scams are registered within our data base to help safeguard users from future related threats.

Will Malwarebytes Mobile Security work on my device?
